Creative Options for Group Dining Al Fresco

So many of our incentive travel programs are centered around truly breathtaking destinations. So, we love to find exciting and innovative ways to maximize guests’ time engaging with and enjoying those spectacular views! One of the best ways to create memorable moments in magical places is by planning fun outdoor dining experiences. Here’s a sampling of a few al fresco moments we can host for your group.

Beach BBQ in Los Angeles
Los Angeles is famous for many things, it’s temperate year-round climate and proximity to the coast among them. As a relaxing counterpoint to the hustle and bustle of the city in L.A., head to the iconic strands of Santa Monica and Venice Beach! We set up a classic American barbeque, with grilled burgers and chilled beers, right on the sand. Guests can arrive by bicycle after a leisurely pedal along the boardwalk, and they can engage in some friendly competition with a beach volleyball tournament after the meal.

Long Table Dinner in British Columbia
Imagine one long communal table for all your guests, replete with crisp white linen tablecloth and fresh flower arrangements, running the length of an open field surrounded by verdant farmlands and snow-capped peaks. In the fading summer sunlight, guests enjoy a farm-to-table meal with ingredients sourced locally from B.C.’s fertile growing region, where earlier in the day they’ve toured some of the farms and had a chance to meet the producers to get the full story of their meal.

Cowboy Cookout in Alberta
Incentive guests spend the day stepping back into the Old West with a visit to one of the Banff area’s working ranches. Along with horseback rides and rodeos, no cowboy experience is complete without a ranch-style cookout! Traditional fare is cooked over the open fire, and the ambiance is completed with cowboy songs and tales around the fire.
